Anita Howshall

High School Head Cook

Mrs. Howshall has worked in the district for thirteen years, serving as the high school’s head cook for seven of those years. Mrs. Howshall is responsible for serving food to upwards of 1,000 staff members and students as the high school is the district’s largest building. While doing so, she is consistent in greeting our students and staff with a smile and pleasant demeanor. Beyond the school day, she continues to go above and beyond as she helps set up for after-school events, meetings, and functions for our students as well as staff and administration. Most recently, she has continued to serve students in our district via curbside pick-up and continues to do so with the same positive attitude that makes her this month’s Slater Standout.
