We are encouraging families to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application if you believe you may qualify.  Everyone has received free breakfast and lunch the past two years. The 30-day carryover usually only applies to benefits from the previous year, but since so many families did not complete applications in the past two years, the 30-day carryover has been extended to include the 2019-20 school year eligibility determinations up until the 2021-2022 school year. The most recent eligibility determination will be used for the school year 2022-2023.  However, a new application must be submitted for the 2022-2023 school year before October 13, 2022, or your student will automatically be changed to full paid status.  If this should occur, you are responsible for any charges on your account until a new application is submitted and approved. 

If you have received a letter of Direct Certification for the 2022-2023 school years you do not need to submit a free and reduced application, you will be automatically free for the school year. The letters for Direct Certification will be emailed or mailed at the end of July 2022.  Please make sure your email and mailing address are correct with the school district. 

If you have not received a letter of Direct Certification for the 2022-2023 school year and feel you would be eligible for free or reduced meals, please apply starting August 15, 2022, at www.schoolcafe.com.

Families can submit free or reduced-price meal applications at any time throughout the school year.
